When you see the scrap of a seed you threw,
claim the earth, to rise above so arrogantly
and bear you a fruit, treasure it.

When you hear a favorite tune
that was lost in the annals of your memory,
come back to you on a random day,
to make you feel that lost jolt of life, cherish it.

When on a tiring day, you pass by that favorite picture
and remember first, the excruciating pain,
and then the rush of love that left you breathless,
with the touch of those little toes, relive it.

In a long train journey,
when the stranger next to you is as madly in love
with the book you’re reading,
and indulges you in a walk down the familiar feelings, regale in it.

When you remember the euphoria that rushing blood gave you,
when that first love touched and consumed you,
carrying you in its cradle,
rocking the senses out of you, for a while, laugh at it.

Early in the morning, when you’re out feeling the fresh air
and having a moment for yourself ,
and an unfamiliar bird stares at you,
as if longing to be your friend,
from behind a tree branch, call to it.

When panic grips you one day,
from the constant wave of unstoppable disarrayed thoughts,
and yet you find the courage to brush them over,
and find solace in the triviality of our existence, remember it.

In the most dire of circumstances,
when you have lost all hope and just exist and forget to live,
but that one person shows up adamantly, everyday,
reminding you of that relentless spirit you possess, embrace it.

Treasure these valuables,
collect them and save them in a chest for you to bank from,
when you’re a little lost by the ways of this world,
they’re guaranteed to bring back a smile or two!
